Aki enters the Future Devil's cell and receives an offer. The Devil has foreseen that Aki will die in a way it finds spectacular, so it asks to live in his right eye and grants him brief sight of the immediate future. Kishibe tests Denji and Power and ends training after they finally manage to scratch him. Public Safety then begins a major operation against the yakuza organization connected to Akane and Samurai Sword. Makima meets the group's leader, demands the names of members contracted with the Gun Devil, and demonstrates that threats against hunters' families can be answered in kind. Kishibe warns police that the newly merged Special Division 4 is mostly Devils and Fiends whose danger cannot be fully controlled. The assault team enters a building and fights zombies created by the yakuza's earlier contract with the Zombie Devil. Power joins the Shark Fiend, Violence Fiend, Spider Devil, and Angel Devil in clearing the basement. Denji and Aki continue upward. Aki finds Akane first, and she orders the Snake Devil to release the captured Ghost Devil. His new foresight helps him evade its attacks briefly, but its many arms eventually seize him by the throat.
